                       Finish in the top 5 for season points.  Done!
                       Win at least 2 races.  Didn't accomplish.  HAd a number of shots and lead a lot of laps.        
                                                              Just couldn't   close the deal!

Alex:

                   Probably most important..."win some money"!  Bagged some cash!

Season Summary:
We all had a good time this summer.  Alex decided mid-season that she just really didn't want to be a race car driver.  Cale said "gimme a car, I'll race it!"...and he did!  Cale had a blast being one of the "racin' boys".  He talked non-stop, 7 days a week, about racing.  Mid season Shawn switched chassis to a 2011 Stallard and it worked well on his way to earning the Most Improved Driver award.  Shawn led the points race for a good part of the season only to have made a significant driving mistake in a double points night and then the following week have a DNF costing him a shot for at least 2nd in season points to Nathan Benson .  Garrett was on a roll in the Jr Sprint class.  Except for a few mechanical issues leading to DNF's, he was in a class of his own!  Garrett did get his new Stallard Restrictor class car finished and was able to pratice it a few nights.  He is looking forward to moving up in 2012!
